Hello, I am Maikel and under the pseudonym mdt.re I craft experimental furniture and lighting out of wood and inspired by nature, physics, and geometry. In my workshop in Osnabrück I work primarily with traditional machinery and hand tools to investigate traditional and novel joinery techniques or create new designs.
