A steam-bent bench made of ash and mahogany wood stitched together with copper dowels. The stretchers are made out of copper and ash rods dovetailing into the bench's color scheme. The wood grain flows continuously from the legs to the surface of the bench, allowed for by an intricate steam-bending technique. To bend such a thick pieces of wood in a tight radius a special joint is used that interconnects while bending the wood. This type of joint can only be hand-cut using a set of specialized and custom made tools.
